A Precious Gift To Yourself

As it draws nearer and nearer to Dec 25th, the hustle and bustle is magnified to an even greater extent. Every spare moment is an opportunity to pack in one more “to-do” and mark it off our lists. “Tis the season” as they say, but I’m challenging you to make this year special by giving yourself the gift of some quiet personal time to take care of yourself. Let’s not wait until January to breath! By then we are so exhausted it’s hard to feel inspired.

Take a look at your calendar this morning and make sure you have some “me time” scheduled in each day for the rest of the month. A few minutes each day to exercise, read and/or just sit and enjoy the season in silence. The holidays are such a happy time of year and we want to make sure we are making the most of them. It’s not really about the food and the gifts—-and some time to ourselves to just be still will remind us of that very quickly. Sometimes when we give ourselves a chance to be still and focus on our selves we accomplish the most.
