Let’s Not Let Halloween Weekend Scare the Health Out of Us!

“If you don’t choose the food, the food will choose you.” ~Norma Heitz, Weight Watchers Receptionist

There is NOTHING to be scared of....A heathy lifestyle is all about setting your priorities and making choices!

Halloween weekend is upon us! Let’s not get spooked and forget about our how important our healthy eating habits are and how good they make us feel. Don’t be fearful that you will have to forgo thing things you really enjoy…you just need to choose which ones you enjoy the MOST and plan for them. NOTHING is “bad” or off limits. Remember, deprivation doesn’t work and isn’t a long term, healthy solution. We are re-teaching ourselves BALANCE and moderation. Take some time today to think about your weekend plans and how you want to allocate your daily Points Plus target and what portion of your Weekly Points Points Plus allowance you might want to dip into. Pick and choose what events and foods/drinks you are most looking forward to and work those in first. Fill in the rest with fruits, veggies and other Power Foods. If the Points Plus values you needs exceed what you have available, work in some extra activity. It’s all about balance, moderation and ENJOYING OURSELVES through out the process!

I am excited to share that I will now be leading an EVENING meeting in St. Charles starting next THURSDAY! The new meeting will open for weigh in at 430pm and the actual meeting time will be at 5pm. If you can please spread the work about this brand new Thursday evening meeting to any of your friends who work and can’t attend daytime meetings or anyone who you think might find this time convenient, I would appreciate it!

See you today or sometime very soon!

    Terra,
I’m so excited you will be leading an evening meeting. The lunch meeting is so rushed for me during my lunch hour – I don’t get to stay for the whole meeting.
Can’t wait – see you next week!!!

YAY! Glad you can make it! Because it’s a brand new meeting, I am afraid it will take a while to get the word out about it. It might just be the two of us this week but that works for me! Now I don’t have to worry that I will be there ALL ALONE! Look forward to seeing you!
