“It’s not what’s on the table that’s most important today, it’s what’s in the chairs!!!!!!!”
– Alice F., a very successful WW member
It’s here, it’s here….Turkey Day is here! All of our preparation, planning and anticipating in the past few weeks has been about today and we finally get to enjoy it! Let’s commit to doing just that….enjoying every second of it! The smells, the tastes and most importantly, the warm feeling of being with the ones we Love. Life moves so fast and it’s easy to get caught up in the everyday routine, but today is about putting the brakes on the routine so that we can spend our day reflecting on we have been given and GIVING THANKS . Today will go by fast too, so try to stay in conscious of being in the moment and making the most of it. Stick to your eating plan but don’t let it consume you. You are in control and there is absolutely no need for fear or doubt about that.
I am so grateful for all of the you, as readers of my blog and the many of you that I have gotten to know personally in the WW meeting rooms. I don’t believe it is chance that we have come together on this journey. Our friendships are here to help each of us continue to find our way and for that I am endlessly thankful!
Signing off now because I have to get ready for our annual Family Turkey Trot, down here in Charleston! WOMEN only and NO kids! We will be solving the “world’s problems” all before lunch! HAVE A BLESSED THANKSGIVING!!!!!!! All is well!!!!!!
