It’s been a tough couple of months for me personally, when it comes to eating. There is just no other way to say it. Portion control has been really difficult. I’ve learned that life goes in waves and sometimes managing my eating is fairly easy and other times I feel like each day is a constant struggle. Right now, I seem to be in the “struggle mode”, unfortunately. I’ve been through rough patches like this before and gotten myself back under control and that’s what I have to focus on this time too.

Each day offers the opportunity for new choices. We each get to continue to modify our healthy life plan to fit whatever is going on in our lives in the moment, because we know our situations are constantly changing. Rather than being frustrated or depressed, it’s more helpful to see these times as opportunities to remake our habits and get back to the simple basics.

So that’s my plan…back to basics and keeping it REAL! If you would like to join me, I would be honored!
