In anticipation of weightloss, it’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking “I will be happy when….”
I will be happy when…I lose weight. When…I get to goal. When…I wear a certain size clothes. And on and on and on. As a Lifetime Weight Watchers member, I am the first one to tell you that being at your personal goal weight does feel amazing. Life, in my opinion is just much simpler when you can walk into your closet and put anything on and it fits comfortably.

Being healthy feels good, but in order to get there physically, we have to get there mentally FIRST. You cannot change your weight dramatically this moment…..but you CAN DRAMATICALLY change your thoughts. It all starts with accepting yourself as you are NOW. You absolutely can lose the weight you want to lose, but it’s much easier and more effective if you do it from a place of gratitude for all that you have this moment.
