As I sit here and write, my thermometer says it’s -3* outside!!!!! Now THAT is cold!!! This time of year, when it’s difficult to keep our activity level as high as we would like it, it is even more important to track our food intake accurately and consistently. Those BLTs (bites, licks and tastes) can add up and without extra activity, unfortunately they will more easily show up in the scale.
Make the extra effort to stay within your daily PointPlus target this week as the temps remain frigid and our days are still short. Say “no thanks” to extra helpings and over sized portions and YES to curling up with a cup of hot tea, a warm blanket and a book! When spring comes, we will be happy we made the most of our time now.
This dessert may help because it’s not only decadent, it’s made with healthy, whole ingredients that will help you stay fuller, longer. It’s also a good sized portion for few PointsPlus values. It came from Lyndee in Naperville who just hit her goal weight yeterday!!! She lost 107 pounds!!!!!! YES, your read it correctly, SHE LOST 107 POUNDS and looks as amazing as she feels!!!!!! Woooooohoooooo, Lyndee! You did it!! You inspire us! Thanks for the food idea and beautiful photo!!!
It’s Tuesday, so I will be leading my meetings at the new Schaumburg Weight Watchers Store on Golf Road at 10am and noon. See you there!
