One Down, Eleven to Go!!

So long January 2017!  As we move into our second month of the year, do you feel good about the direction your headed?  When asked how he accomplished so much in his career, former Major League Baseball pitcher Danny Cox was quoted as saying…… “Success is knowing what your values are and living in a way consistent with them.”  

Sometimes this can be the most frustrating part of trying to lose weight or maintain the weight we’ve lost. We want to lose weight desperately (or not gain weight back) and we know what to do, yet the weekend comes or stress hits or a particular emotion takes over and we seem to act in exactly the opposite direction of our goals and values.  This can leave us feeling down on ourselves and lead us to question whether or not we will really ever be able to find peace with our weight and eating habits. I’m writing this right now to tell you….This happens to most everyone and there ARE strategies we can use to change and control our behaviors!!!  You CAN do this!!  

These strategies are exactly what we are going to be focusing on tonight at our Weight Watchers meeting, so I hope you’ll join me.  Changing our behaviors to healthier ones starts with a change in mindset.  When we learn how to change the way we see things, the things we see change. We had a phenomenal dicussion at our 10am WW meeting Schaumburg on Tuesday and I know tonight at 530pm in Geneva will be just as powerful.
