Take a Breath~It’s OK

All of what we need to make us happy already lies within us. We don’t have to gain it, earn it or find it….We just need to express it. We know how to live healthy, it’s not magic. We know when our body has had enough food and when we should stop. We know what foods nourish us and which ones don’t. We know what movement and activity feels good to us. Step one is to accept where we are in our journey right this moment and not waste any energy fighting it or loathing it or wishing we were somewhere else. Total acceptance of our life, our weight, our body, as it is this very moment. Taking a quiet moment out of our rushed life to take a breath and truly feel that it’s all ok. Once we stop the mental arguing and resistance of what already IS, our minds will become more quiet, allowing us to listen to our body’s physical cues. It’s all there…..we just have to be still and listen so that we can express the health that we already are. No fear, no panic, no worry. Just acceptance, trust and faith. Change doesn’t have to be work, struggle and effort. It can be graceful if we allow it. That, to me, sounds like a better quality of life that we can enjoy right now. Let’s try it.
